Kitchen Island Lighting

Kitchen island lighting has two jobs: light the counter for cooking, and give the kitchen its personality. This collection gathers our brass pendant lights and chandeliers that work over an island, from single dome and globe pendants to linear chandeliers.

How many pendants over a kitchen island?

As a rule, two pendants for an island up to about 6 feet, three for a longer island, spaced evenly with about 24 to 30 inches between them, and hung 30 to 36 inches above the counter. A single linear chandelier is a clean alternative. Explore brass pendant lights and linear chandeliers.
